| About our Smokin' Holsters
Smokin' Holsters are made from the finest materials we can find. They are made to last forever. Should you ever experience a problem with one of our holsters you need only contact us and we will rectify the situation. Our leather is all top grain and purchased directly from tanner distributors in the US and Canada. All the leather we use, including exotic leather such as snakeskin, bison, etc., has been processed for legal distribution in the US and Canada.
The leather is bought as a full or half skin, custom cut, hand punched and hand stitched. Our stitching is done using Bee's Waxed 5 Strand Nylon Thread rated at 35 lbs. The picture above shows 1/2 of calf skin.
Leather is a natural product. All leather has it's own grain and natural flaws which will vary from product to product. Very often the flaws, in the form of scars, brands and the animals inherent growth pattern will naturally become part of the leather and the design of the pouch. We believe this adds to the uniqueness of every pouch we design in leather. Pictured above is the front and back of a calfskin. We hope you buy and enjoy our Smokin' Holsters for a long, long time. |
We'd like to thank Bill Burney for graciously designing the Smokin' Holsters logo.Send mail to smokinholsters@verizon.net with questions or comments about this web site.Last modified: January 12, 2008 Copyright © 2002 Smokin' Holsters |
